Cyprus' 350.org action: Cyprus charity Cans For Kids organised the 350 Challenge. Volunteers sorted, ready for recycling, almost double the target of 350 kilos of cans in 2 hours. Nicosia's Mayor, Eleni Mavrou, and the Head of the EC Representation in Cyprus, Androulla Kaminara, attended.To date over €250,000 worth of equipment, purchased with the proceeds of recycling cans, has been donated by Cans for Kids to the children's wards at Makarios Hospital in Nicosia, Cyprus.
