Morgan! Political/Non-Profit Fundraiser and Lobbyists.
I grew up in Southwest Ohio, direct descendant of Garrett A. Morgan (inventor of the traffic light and fire mask). Educated in southwest Ohio, and attended Miami University.

I moved to the DC/MD area in 2002 to head the fundraising efforts of the Maryland Republican Party. After the successful election of Robert Ehrlich to Governor of Maryland (the first Republican elected Governor of Maryland in over 40 years, and Lt. Governor Michael Steele, first African-American Lt. Governor), I moved into State Government with Maryland Environmental Services: to raise money to support Chesapeake Bay Restoration and to upgrade water/waste-water facilities in the state.

Recently I have been lobbying and fundraising for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education, Human Rights Issues, and Clean Air Policy. Currently, the Deputy Director-Development for the Carbon War Room, a newly formed NGO founded by Richard Branson. Our approach is to bring together successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, policy experts, researchers, and thought leaders to focus on market-driven approaches to climate change solution.

I have an exceptional family; with very strong, deep political roots in Ohio and Nationally. My Grandfather, Alan H. Morgan, was very active in Republican Politics in the 70's and 80's. My Aunt, Phoebe Carolyn Morgan-Jackson, was one of the first African-American female teacher in Southwest Ohio (Middletown, Ohio). My Uncle, Ron C. Morgan, Esq.. Is a well know and respected defense attorney in Cincinnati, and was an advisor to Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell.

I have an awesome son, D.J. Morgan, who I'm terribly proud of!

Married to Kent for 42 years. We have 3 children, Julie, Michael, and Matthew. Julie is single and has a adorable dog "Izzy". Michael has a son Conner and Matthew is married to Stacey and has 3 children. Samantha, Dylan, and Madison. Kent and I love being grandparents. You can spend as much time with them as you want and spoil them and when you get tired you can go home.
